Project week: Ten architecture students in Burundi

Ten architecture students from the Fachhochschule Düsseldorf took a trip to Burundi during the "2006 Extramuros Project Week". The object of the trip was to build a workshop to provide technical training to young Burundians in co-operation with Burundian tradesmen, school students and apprentices. The pavilion was built on the same site as our yet-to-be-completed school centre. Apart from the first training sessions being run there, some bits and pieces for the school are now being made!

A project of the PBSA (Peter Behrens School of Architecture / Fachhochschule Düsseldorf) in co-operation with burundikids e.V., under the direction of Prof. Tanja Kullack and Martina Wziontek.
